In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Disney’s animated film Beauty and the Beast, Trollwood brings the classic love story and captivating characters to their main stage.
Fans of Beauty and the Beast will get to watch the same beloved story play out, but Trollwood is putting their own unique twist through enchanting characters, costumes and scenery.
“The colors alone on the stage are just unbelievable,” says Kathy Anderson, the Executive Director at Trollwood.
The show opens this Friday and continues July 15, 18-22, and 25-29.
As a performing arts school, Trollwood’s highest priority is educating young performers. Anderson says the variety of classes and opportunities at Trollwood provide “a well-rounded education in the arts.” The talented cast has been rehearsing for months, and is excited to carry the audience through the classic story of Beauty and the Beast.
Large crowds are expected for the show, so booking tickets in advance is recommended. The Trollwood Box Office is open from 10:00 am-6:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 218-477-6502 or visiting www.trollwood.org.
Trollwood and The Brickhouse Tavern in Moorhead will be providing a free shuttle service throughout the run of the show. Shuttles will start loading at 6:00 pm in the parking lot of The Brickhouse Tavern, located in the shopping center off of 8th St. S. in Moorhead. These are available in addition to the on-site parking at Bluestem.
