December is nearly upon us, but before it gets here, there’s another CreativeMornings Fargo session at Drekker’s Brewhalla!
CreativeMornings Fargo is a free breakfast series with chapters all over the world intended to do one thing: inspire our creativity, no matter how “uncreative” you think you are. The motto of the group is “Everyone is welcome. Everyone is creative.”
CreativeMornings Fargo is every last Friday of the month and features a different speaker each time (read our feature in the Fargo Forum here for more information).
November’s theme for the session from 8-10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30 is Restart and the speaker this month is Jesse Hoorelbeke!
Jesse is the owner of J. Alan Paul Photography and has been a professional commercial photographer in Fargo for the past seven years. You’ve likely seen his work featured around the Upper Midwest in hundreds of publications, billboards, websites, and on social media. He has also taken photos of some of our first CreativeMornings Fargo events (you’ve probably seen him hanging out on the side or in back with a camera).
But, his restarting secret is that he hasn’t always been a photographer. Come hear his transformative story of how he had to restart his life and career: transforming a hobby into a passion, and ultimately into a career he wasn’t necessarily expecting.
As always, the morning will be full of free coffee from Stumbeanos, pastries from Sugarplum, a make and take, and good conversation with amazing creatives in our community.
Admission is free, but registration to the event is required. There are still tickets left, so get your ticket now! See you tomorrow morning!
