We are fairly buzzing at the office with the printing of the article in today’s Forum about some of the work The Arts Partnership is doing on behalf of our Partners and the arts in this community. The photo was taken at Island Park in front of one of the poems written by a Hawthorne/Clara Barton student as part of our Walking, Waiting Wondering Words project. Special thanks to Partner Liz Schwankl for her really lovely words.
The Forum also launched my first column today. Kris will be writing stories on artists and arts events the 1st-3rd Monday of the month, and I will write a column on the 4th about larger art initiatives, opportunities, ideas and more; kind of a “call to action” to the greater community to see the value the arts bring to the overall success of the metro.
We are thrilled with this new relationship and excited to see how it helps grow and expand the arts. Please share the article and the column with your e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and other contacts, and encourage them to sign up for the ARTSpulse e-newsletters. Part of the purpose of all of this is to grow our following so that more and more people are learning about the work you are doing that we talk about on a daily basis. And feel free to send a nice note to the Forum to let them know you appreciate this new, expanded dedication to arts coverage.
This is an exciting time for the arts, and we invite you to be part of the momentum as it grows and grows!
