Grants for Organizations

City Arts Partnership (CAP) Grants – Deadline April 2019

Our City Arts Partnership (CAP) grants support nonprofit arts and culture organizations and other nonprofits proposing arts-and-culture projects in the Metro area. CAP grant programs are funded by the cities of Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo. Sanford Health provides funds for the Sanford Arts Partnership Merit Awards, given to organizations doing exemplary work in the arts and cultural arenas in our community.

Organizations planning to apply for a City Arts Partnership grant must attend a mandatory application workshop or will be ineligible to apply.

Guidelines for the 2018 grant round and other information necessary to the application process can be accessed below, along with information about past grant recipients.

Through this program, visual artists, writers, poets, performers, musicians, artisans and more can apply for project grants of $250 to $2,500.

There are two parts to the Individual Artist Grant program: The Individual Arts Partnership (IAP) grants and the Jade Presents Arts Partnership (JPAP) grants. Anyone interested in applying for either of these grants MUST attend a pre-application workshop (see the schedule in the Information Workshop section on this page).

Funding for these grants is provided by generous individuals and Jade Presents (specifically for musicians).
