GRANT APPLICATION: General Operating Support I and II

To be eligible for this grant, your organization must be a nonprofit dedicated specifically to arts and culture with an annual budget of at least $40,000 in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo metro area. You also must attend a mandatory application workshop at one of the dates and times listed in the guidelines available on theartspartnership.net/grants. Please use the guidelines as you fill out the application. The deadline to apply for a General Operating Support Grant is 5 p.m. Friday, April 19.

  • Narrative Questions

    Refer to the guidelines for additional suggestions in crafting the narrative responses.
  • Where is your organization in its life-cycle? Where do you hope the organization will be in 3 years and how are you strategically preparing to get there? Describe the roles of management and artistic teams. Provide evidence of organizational infrastructure and financial health and stability.
  • Describe the artistic or cultural product presented or produced by your organization. Who makes the artistic/programming decisions? How do you ensure quality? How will this grant broaden and/or deepen the work you do?
  • Who is your audience? How and to whom do you promote your work? Discuss plans to broaden, deepen and/or reach new and more diverse audiences.
  • How do you measure success overall and for discrete activities? Who or what provides feedback? Note actual evaluation methods used and why.
  • Additional Materials
