“April showers bring May flowers.”
This little English proverb speaks exactly to what The Arts Partnership does for the local arts community and beyond.
The explanation continues, “The month of April, traditionally a rainy period, gives way to May, when flowers will bloom because of the water provided to them by the April rains.”
If the arts are the bloom of our community, The Arts Partnership is all the elements of April, the necessary rain that cultivates the art blooms and the umbrella that offers protection.
To embrace this time of growth and renewed possibilities, The Arts Partnership is hosting a 12-hour online day of giving from 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 on theartspartnership.net/donate.
Then, to celebrate, we are hosting a party from 6:30-8:30 p.m. that day at APT, a Creative Incubator (225 4th Ave. N.) featuring apps, drinks and music by local polka band The Meat Rabbits. All who donate throughout the day or wish to donate at the event are welcome!
Spring is a time of optimism, expectancy and rain that gives way to beautiful sunny days. When The Arts Partnership grows, the arts in our community grow. Join us in ensuring the arts continue to flourish in our Metro.
