A History of African Americans in the Midwest
from Dr. Crystal M. Moten
Please join us on Saturday, February 23, as we host Macalester College’s Professor Crystal M. Moten for a free lecture in celebration of Black History Month. Dr. Moten’s lecture will examine the lives of African Americans, especially women, who migrated to the Midwest after World War II, paying special attention to their experiences, struggles, and acts of everyday resistance.
