March 14 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Featured artwork by Cameron Peterson of Funhouse Press.

The Spirit Room the invitational exhibition called The Great Winter Crow Show. The Great Winter Crow show is an open, non-competitive festive exhibit rejoicing the crow. Visual art, poetry, song and dance are mediums of merriment for the crow’s marvelous and malevolent associations.

The first Crow Show was held in 2004. Ever since, every other year, another murder of crows descends upon downtown Fargo headed for the Spirit Room. Seventy-three artists currently have work on display in Gallery I and Lotus Studio. To quote Dawn Morgan, Executive Director of the Spirit Room, “We are always amazed that there is continued enthusiasm for the Crow Show. I believe that one reason remains, it is fun.”

The reception will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 4:00 p.m. Food and drinks will be available and the event is open and free to the public. Gallery talks held at 5:00 p.m.

The Great Winter Crow Show is made possible through funding in part by North Dakota Council on the Arts and the Arts Partnership.
