Paint It Forward from Lakes & Prairies Community Action Partnership at The Rourke

May 9 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

We have been serving the community for over 50 years and have been called ‘the best kept secret.’ It’s time to spread the word about our work so we can better engage with our community.

Our mission is to eliminate poverty by empowering families and engaging communities. Currently, we are developing better ways to serve in a more holistic manner and our hope is to designate funds to fill the gaps in our service. We need your help!

Our ‘Paint It Forward’ event will pair local crafters and artists with the families we serve. They will create a collaborative work of art to be displayed and auctioned at the event. Attendees will enjoy appetizers and beverages during the social while they admire the artwork. The event will not only serve as a fundraiser, but also as enrichment for those served. It will give them an opportunity to express themselves through art and give back to our community

Paint It Forward
May 9, 2019
5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The Rourke Art Museum – 521 Main Ave, Moorhead, MN 56560

Each year, CAPLP serves over 5,000 families and individuals within our community. Our programs work collaboratively to help people overcome the obstacles of poverty. If you are interested in helping people and changing lives, please consider supporting our event. We are still in need of artists to pair with those we serve to create collaborative art pieces. If your schedule is overwhelming, we invite you to consider donating a work of art for the event.
