Enjoy a favorite pastime for both kids and adults. The Fargo Park District presents Kids to Parks Day, an event formerly known as Kite Day and Nature Adventure, from 11:00 am-2:00 pm on Saturday, May 18 at Lindenwood Park.
Kids to Parks Day is part of a national day of outdoor play organized by National Park Trust designed to connect kids and families with their local parks. In addition to the fun happening in Lindenwood Park, the Fargo Park District encourages families to get out and enjoy our other area parks. Starting at 11:00 am, self-guided make-and-take crafts are available at the following parks: Rabanus, Trollwood and Island Park.
Please note that the Fargo Marathon is the same day as national Kids to Parks Day. Families are encouraged to walk or ride bike to the parks and plan routes accordingly.
Kids to Parks Day is free and everyone is welcome to attend. Lindenwood Park is located at 1905 Roger Maris Drive, Fargo. Rabanus is located at 4315 18th Avenue SW, Trollwood is located at 3664 Elm Street N and Island Park is located at 302 7th Street S, all in Fargo.
