History Presentations with Mark Peihl at Fargo Public Library

Library to host Fargo history presentations March 27
Mark Peihl, archivist and researcher for the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County, will give two history presentations on Wednesday, March 27, starting at 7 p.m. at the downtown Main Library.
Peihl will first discuss the history of the Mid-America Steel site in downtown Fargo, an area that was significant in Fargo’s early history. He will also discuss the days of the electric trolleys in Fargo-Moorhead. The trolley system served the F-M area for several decades before automobiles became popular.
