Milk and cookies. Peanut butter and chocolate. Art and wine. Certain combinations just go together.
If you are a fan of the latter (and are 21+), consider attending Corks and Canvas, an event series hosted through the Downtown Community Partnership where attendees sample fine wines while engaging with local artists in businesses throughout Downtown Fargo.
The next season of Corks and Canvas kicks off from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, May 9 at 24 locations including our Partners Unglued, Gallery4 and Nichole’s Fine Pastry.
Twenty businesses will feature local artists to meet, check out their artwork and observe their creative process.
Individual artist partners participating in the day include Scott Seiler Photography at Nichole’s Fine Pastry, Ellen Diederich at Stabo Scandinavian Imports, Mark Elton at Puzzled Escape Rooms and Eric Johnson at Others.
A full list of businesses and participating artists is available here.
Other Corks and Canvas dates are at the same time on June 13, August 8 and September 12.
