If you like the idea of having freedom to paint all over walls any way you’d like, local media personality Marlin Wells wants to hear from you!
Wells is looking for graffiti artists to decorate an old concrete building that will be torn down within the next few weeks (the exact date is TBD) and the owner gave him permission to put together a group of artists to “go nuts” inside it before it’s demolished.
This is an unpaid opportunity for creative expression, but the project will be covered by local news. You must provide your own paint and equipment. The projected date for the beautification is March 23 or 24, but he will give you those details once the date is confirmed.
The building is safe to be in, but does not have any heat or power. Keep this in mind for your wardrobe choices if you participate.
Wells already has five artists in place and is looking for several more since there are three floors of the building.
To indicate your interest, send a few photos of your work to Marlin Wells at email@example.com by Wednesday, March 20.
