Calling all artists! Artists Celebrating Christ, ACC, is a unique inter-denominational event uniting artisans from across the nation. Artist registration is open online November 1, 2019 – February 15, 2019 at www.accartshow.com. The twelfth annual ACC Show will be hosted April 5-7, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 3rd Street and Ave A, in downtown Bismarck. Highlights of the weekend include a juried Christian themed art show, student art entries, a church banner and liturgical art display, Friday art classes and tours of the show for school students, art demonstrations and performing artists throughout the show, vendors, and Saturday art workshops for families and adults. The 2019 Honorary Artist is Kathy Luther, mosaic artist, from Fargo.
The opening reception will be held on Friday, April 5th from 5:00-6:00 pm. Hors d’ oeuvres and musical entertainment will be provided. Saturday, April 6th, art workshops are offered for family groups and adults between noon and 4 pm. Several themed art workshops including oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, printmaking, calligraphy, and pastels taught by local artists are offered to the community. For class descriptions and to register visit www.accartshow.com and select the Saturday Art Workshops link.
In the spirit of service and stewardship, proceeds above expenses will be donated to Creative Connections & Opportunities, Inc., a charity partner of Community Options. CCO creatively connects the donation of money, goods, and services to qualified individuals to promote self-sufficiency.
ACC’s previous events brought in nearly 1700 spectators from the Bismarck-Mandan area as well as travelers from across the state. For more information on the weekend art event visit www.accartshow.com.
