We’re excited to announce that APT, a Creative Incubator is a stop at the 43rd annual Street Fair July 19-21 in Downtown Fargo!
The Street Fair is a free event hosted by the Downtown Community Partnership that attracts over 100,000 visitors every year and features an eclectic mix of vendors selling practically anything you can imagine: handmade arts and crafts, fair food and locally produced products by retailers, restaurants, bars… You name it, and it’s likely sold at the Street Fair. 🙂
Several studio artists from APT, a Creative Incubator such as Dak & Co (clothing), Tarjei Nossum (glass art), Fermie Studios (ceramics) and Christina Johnson (prints, jewelry, design) will have booths set up on the corner of 3rd Street and 4th Avenue North, so swing by during your Street Fair excursion to say hello and shop from these talented artists!
Another APT studio artist, Rockgirl Studio, will also be selling her jewelry at the Street Fair, but in the Local Artisan block indicated in the map below. Please notice the Street Fair has a different route this year.
APT, a Creative Incubator is a temporary demonstration space in downtown Fargo for our thriving local art scene. This includes studio spaces, gallery walls and rental areas for arts workshops, classes, rehearsals, performances and more. The Arts Partnership and Kilbourne Group worked together to bring APT to fruition in 2016. Currently, over 25 artists who create art from a range of media are renting studio spaces at APT.
The Downtown Fargo Street Fair takes place 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday. For more information, visit www.downtownfargo.com or Downtown Fargo’s Street Fair Facebook page.
