This year marks The Arts Partnership’s 50th year of supporting local art in the community, so we decided to throw a party!
And it’s not just any birthday party, because we’re extending it through the fall with five events and ways to get involved with local art from ChalkFest this weekend to announcing locations for the Photoville FENCE, set to be unveiled next month.
Help us celebrate TAP’s birthday by joining us online and in person and get involved with the following:
Sponsored by 702 Communications, ChalkFest 2020 is slate for this weekend and will include a variety of featured artists, performers and local arts nonprofits. Stop by for a fun day outdoors with friends and family. The event is free to the public and includes chalk.
Keep an eye out for signs throughout the zoo to get a schedule of events sent directly to your phone. The Red River Zoo COVID-19 policies recommend visitors wear masks and maintain social distancing.

We’re just about wrapped up for the very first virtual season of CSA… and it’s been a blast to see everyone come together again around art, food, music and community. We’ve updated our CSA page on TheArtsPartnership.net with a bunch of information for anyone interested in getting involved in the immersive art experience online. Shares will be on sale soon!
Until then, enjoy a free look at past CSA broadcasts with music, artist talks and a poetry reading available on our Youtube channel.
The studio crawl is ON this year happening the first weekend of October. Stop out to West Acres Mall to visit one of the newest locations to be included in the Fargo Moorhead Visual Artists event. Aptitude creative studios includes a variety of artists who work and sell their work directly out of their studios in the mall.
During this two-day event, the public is invited into the studios of the area’s working artists to see where the “magic” of the creative process happens. The doors are open to all and free of charge, take a closer look, experience the creative process, and ask questions.
Mark your calendars!
Our artists at Aptitude creative studios include:
Our very first Salon Party was a wild success last year, so we decided to throw another one during our birthday month. Help support The Arts Partnership in our 50th year by donating in the next few weeks to receive access to this virtual event.
As a thank you to our valued supporters, we’ll be gathering art in and music in one place for an inspiring afternoon online. We are happy to announce that the Silver Winds Flute Quartet will be our featured performers with a live conversation led by President and CEO Dayna Del Val to follow.
